Production Runner
Responsibilities:
Reports to: Owners, Office Manager and Production Supervisor
Purpose of position:
Our focus with this position is to assist the general manager and production supervisor
Locate, move and assist with glass
Insure glass remakes are taken care of and prioritized
Ensure work area is clean and organized and free from obstructions.
Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure
Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, Glass industry experience is preferred (not required).
Monitor production efficiencies and quality regularly during the shift and provide corrective action plans with employees while maintaining accurate communications to appropriate departments.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required
Must be able to lift 50 to 75lb. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150lb. with assistance
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Schedule:
8am - 4:30pm Shift
